The result places Payapps among the leading construction software solutions considered by the awards’ international judging panel and recognises its purpose-built approach to improving payment claim workflows.

Best construction software recognition for payment claim workflow
Payapps’ selection as a finalist for Best SaaS Solution for Construction or Property Management recognises its role as purpose-built construction software for managing payment claims.
Payment claims sit at the centre of cash flow across construction projects, yet they have traditionally been managed through spreadsheets, emails and fragmented manual processes.
Payapps gives main contractors and subcontractors a shared, cloud-based payment claim workflow for managing valuations, variations, retentions, supporting documentation and assessments with greater consistency, transparency and control.
This construction-specific recognition sits alongside finalist placements for finance and FinTech, project management, ERP, workflow automation and large-scale SaaS adoption. Together, the six categories reflect the broader role Payapps plays across commercial, financial and project workflows.

A major focus of Payapps’ continued development has been deeper integration with the ERP, financial and project management systems used by construction businesses.
Payapps integrates with Access Coins, helping contractors connect payment claim workflows with wider financial and project information. The integration reduces duplicate data entry and gives commercial and finance teams stronger visibility and auditability across claims, assessments and approvals.
Connecting purpose-built payment claim software with a core construction ERP helps create a more consistent flow of information between project and finance teams, while reducing reliance on spreadsheets and manual system handovers.

International scale and customer impact
Payapps supports more than 98,000 users globally. Each year, more than £19 billion is processed through the platform across approximately 350,000 payment claims.
These figures reflect the scale at which Payapps helps construction businesses replace fragmented, manual processes with a more structured payment claim workflow.
In the UK, OCU Group has processed approximately £270 million through Payapps since going live in November 2024. Claim rejection rates fell from 60–70% to under 5%, while the number of certifications more than doubled without additional finance headcount.

The judges will now undertake their third and final review of the nominations before selecting a winner in each category. Winners of the 2026 SaaS Awards are expected to be announced on 5 August 2026.
