That evidence resonated strongly with the judging panel.
Judges described Payapps’ submission as “exceptionally well-evidenced”, highlighting its named customer case studies, measurable results, industry adoption and the strategic validation provided by Autodesk’s acquisition of Payapps.
Another judge described Payapps as a “standout nomination” combining category leadership, measurable scale and practical innovation.
The recognition was therefore based on more than the technology itself. It reflected the scale at which Payapps is being used, the outcomes customers are achieving and the company’s continued development within the construction industry.

International results further strengthened the award submission.
In the UK, OCU Group reduced application rejection rates from approximately 60–70% to under 5%, while certifications increased from approximately 800 to 2,000 without additional finance headcount.
One Stevie judge singled out the OCU result as particularly significant, describing the reduction in rejection rates as “remarkable”.
